The Whizzer Steam Engine


Made by The American Toy Airship Company of Mansfield Ohio.
Quite possibly the cheapest toy steam engine i've ever come across.
The boiler is a brake fluid can. A small tube is soldered to the cap of
the can and jets steam out the side to turn a small turbine. This is the
alcohol fired version but i believe there was an electrically heated version.

Here you can clearly see that the boiler is a screw top can and you can see the steam pipe soldered into the cap.
